Your Role:

  • Manage your own caseload, focusing on family and humanitarian matters, with opportunities to represent clients in court, including immigration and state custody cases for special immigrant juveniles.
  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve departmental and firm-wide objectives.
  • Provide direct legal guidance and strategic advice to Case Managers, ensuring excellence in all cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, review documentation, and develop innovative legal strategies.
  • Engage with clients, addressing their concerns and shaping their legal approaches with empathy.
  • Prepare clients for crucial interviews and hearings, representing them as a vigorous advocate.
  • Drive financial success while meeting clear and measurable goals.
  • Collaborate with management, providing support and leadership throughout the firm.

Qualifications:

  • A Juris Doctor degree and admission to the New Mexico or another state bar.
  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • A strong commitment to a client-centered practice, with a high standard of excellence.
  • Some experience is preferred, but we are enthusiastic about training those who share our passion.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, effectively delegating and accepting delegation.
