Clinical Laboratory Scientist Job Description

At Universal Health Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing, reporting results, and maintaining accuracy. This role requires a strong understanding of departmental standard operating procedures and quality control policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and report results of medical laboratory tests
  • Assist in training and orientation of new technologists
  • Direct work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel
  • Maintain working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures
  • Understand and comply with all quality control policies

Requirements:

  • Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required
