Deep Roots Harvest is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Packager to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of marijuana concentrates and infused products.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the production department meets demand, quantity, and quality of output in line with company objectives.
- Complete all work assigned during scheduled shifts, including weighing, packaging, and labeling finished products.
- Monitor and maintain packaging equipment according to protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Foster a culture of open dialogue with management and coworkers.
- Communicate production-related questions, concerns, or issues.
- Provide support to the management team to ensure the success of all production operations.
- Follow all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies set forth by the company.
- Utilize company resources to complete assigned tasks.
- Seek continued education to satisfy all regulations and requirements of the company and state regulatory bodies.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Capability to safely operate packaging equipment.
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers, management, vendors, governmental agencies, community members, and the general public.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Skill in detecting problems, identifying resolutions, and implementing recommendations.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment, and software.
The employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.
The employee must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and tolerate dusty, strong-smelling marijuana odors.
