About the Role

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Everside Health. As a key component of our care team, this Medical Assistant will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including escorting patients to rooms, preparing exam rooms, reviewing medical information, and assisting with procedures such as blood draws and injections. Additionally, this Medical Assistant will be responsible for front desk duties, including patient scheduling, medical record requests and abstraction, documentation, and coordination of specialist visits and referrals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
  • Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
  • National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
