Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner and Scheduling Expert to join our team at Atlanta Gear Works in Dawsonville, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in complex planning and JobBoss.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Prioritize operations to minimize delays and optimize resource allocation.
  • Source and procure raw materials, components, and services to support production needs.
  • Monitor costs and ensure that production stays within budget.
  • Evaluate equipment and raw materials to guarantee readiness for production.
  • Communicate production status and issues to upper management.
  • Address production disruptions and productivity problems.
  • Analyze market forecasts and competitive data to anticipate necessary production adjustments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical or industrial engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing planning.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing planning and quality control principles.
  • Experience with JobBoss (ERP/Shop Management Software).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • High mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k with match, PTO/paid holidays, bonuses, and Summer Ice Cream Fridays.
