Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services aimed at enhancing the mental and emotional health of students. This role is crucial in fostering a supportive educational environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' needs and strengths.
  • Design and implement effective intervention strategies to promote students' mental well-being and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to establish robust support systems for students.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to address various emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Engage in the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline is required.
Essential Duties:
  • Administer psychological evaluations to identify learning and behavioral concerns.
  • Develop and oversee tailored intervention plans that cater to individual student needs.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to meet student needs and enhance the overall school atmosphere.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of effective educational strategies.
Licensure:
  • Must possess a valid certification as a School Psychologist in Minnesota.
