Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mainframe technologies and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in software development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Candidates with three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Mainframe, Cobol, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
  • Experience with DB2, including stored procedures, native SP, and SQL.
  • U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mainframe Technologies is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with COBOL, CICS, and DB2 is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cobol DB2 application programming.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in VSAM.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
  • Strong analytical and design skills.
  • Ability to lead activities related to requirements gathering, design creation and review, provide pseudo code to the team, assign and review tasks, and mentor team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working in a global delivery environment.
