Marion County is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services department, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and support to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address complex mental health needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including brief therapy and case management, to individuals and families in crisis.
- Collaborate with community partners, including Salem Hospital and the Marion County Jail, to develop and implement diversion programs and services.
- Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and diagnoses, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
- Credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Knowledge of community mental health concepts, including assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and community partners.
