As a nurse on this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of medical and surgical patients, including those with gastrointestinal procedures, ENT, and GYN conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to medical and surgical patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including COPD, chest pain, dehydration, sepsis, and COVID
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
