Job Overview:
As an Armed Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for both staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering security services to ensure safety within the facility.
- Proactively monitoring and responding to potential or actual security threats.
- Conducting investigations, documenting incidents, and managing security-related hazards.
- Staying informed and adhering to policies regarding alarms and emergency preparedness plans, including facilitating drills and simulations.
- Providing assistance and information to staff and visitors to enhance safety awareness.
Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Must possess a Security Guard license with a Weapon Permit credential from the Texas Department of Public Safety, to be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
