About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Columbia Orthopaedic Group. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the exam.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to minimize exposure to patients and team members.
  • Perform related administrative duties, including using the DICOM Worklist and electronic Medical Record system.
  • Maintain adequate radiologic supplies and report equipment malfunctions to the Practice Manager or supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of radiologic standards, requirements, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness, and infection control policies and regulations.
  • Knowledge of radiologic equipment uses and maintenance.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in performing work.
  • Effective communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient, team member, and employer confidentiality.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations. You will be exposed to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will also interact with a diverse population, including patients and team members.
