Position Overview

The Addison of Willow Pond is seeking a dedicated Food Service Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our dining facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Operations: Supervise the activities within the dining area, room service, and convenience store to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Timely Service: Guarantee that room service orders are executed promptly and accurately.
  • Dining Room Management: Facilitate the smooth and timely opening of the dining room to welcome residents.
  • Staff Scheduling: Assist in creating weekly schedules while adhering to budgetary constraints for service personnel.
  • Staff Coverage: Ensure adequate staffing for each shift and manage absences effectively.
  • Training and Development: Lead the onboarding and training process for new dining room staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Support During Service: Provide assistance to service staff during meal times as necessary.
  • Billing Oversight: Oversee the billing process for food service charges to residents.
  • Team Management: Directly manage the dining staff to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Food Service.
  • Management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Possession of Serv Safe or other relevant local, county, or state certifications.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor, providing clear and respectful guidance.
  • Take pride in the quality and presentation of food, as well as the cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.
  • Demonstrate patience and effective communication skills with diverse personalities.
