Detox Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Detox Technician to join our team at Renewal Health Group. As a Detox Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct support to clients in our detox program.

• Assist with client intakes and orient them to our facility and program rules.
• Conduct regular rounds, room checks, and safety checks to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Administer drug and alcohol screenings as needed and assist clients with self-administration of prescribed medication.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times and enforce program rules and regulations.
• Attend offsite activities, such as meetings and appointments, with clients as needed.
• Ensure clients attend scheduled groups and therapy sessions and lead organized activities to promote client engagement.
• Provide crisis intervention and teach independent living skills to clients.
• Complete all necessary documentation, including charts, program reports, and incident reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility environment at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
• Experience working with substance use disorders, preferably in a detox setting.
• Current registration with CADDE or CCAPP preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
