JOB OVERVIEW

Insight Global is in search of dedicated professionals for highway design roles within transportation initiatives, working under the mentorship of seasoned project engineers or managers. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in nurturing existing client relationships while forging new ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be tasked with executing engineering assignments in the realm of transportation and highway engineering, utilizing applicable design standards, criteria, and methodologies. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Assisting in the development of engineering documentation for project advertisement and construction.
  • Preparing construction cost estimates.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 to 4 years of relevant design experience in the highway transportation sector. Relevant internships or academic coursework will be acknowledged.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, and Inroads or Geopak is preferred.

• Experience with project delivery for State Agency Transportation Departments is advantageous.

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

EIT Certification is preferred.
