Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in La Grande, OR.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing critical community infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, roadways, stormwater, public parks, and general civil engineering.
The ideal candidate will have 0-8 years of experience with EI or PE licensure in Oregon State or be able to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and design critical community infrastructure projects
- Analyze engineering data and interpret plans and specifications
- Partner with senior engineers and project managers for reporting, design, and construction phase services
- Collaborate with government agencies for permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements
- Facilitate public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions from the public
- Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies
- Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, WaterCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and InfoSWMM
Requirements:
- Experience with Bentley and AutoCAD software platforms is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $125,000 annually, based on experience
