We are currently seeking a Sample Processing Technician to enhance our dynamic team.

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately receive and process all samples delivered to our laboratories. This includes:

  • Reviewing the Sample Receipt report for any discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
  • Engaging with clients and internal teams regarding sample inquiries.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of analysis results through validation of data entry.
  • Conducting clerical reviews to rectify any errors.
  • Assisting clients with modifications to Certificates of Analysis and maintaining records of these requests.
  • Updating customer accounts to ensure accurate information, including assigned test analysis quotes.
  • Fostering collaborative relationships within the department and across the organization to effectively support our clients.
  • Organizing and prioritizing daily tasks to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Working independently while coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Providing general office support as required.
  • Collaborating with technical leadership to ensure proper logging of methods and specifications.
  • Making recommendations for new products or specifications to streamline processes.
  • Managing the shipping of packages, adhering to proper procedures for sample and document handling.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use hands and fingers for computer operation and communication tasks.
  • Potential exposure to various environmental factors, including odors and airborne particles.
  • Ability to work in varying noise levels and temperatures.
  • Engagement in fast-paced, team-oriented activities.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to perceive color and depth accurately.
