Job Summary

The Public Area Attendant is a vital member of our hotel team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in all public areas of The Elser Hotel & Residences. As a key representative of our brand, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of exceptional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Public Area Maintenance: Ensure all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restaurants, and restrooms, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure seamless communication and a smooth operation of the hotel.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform various tasks as required, including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining public areas.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
