We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at BridgeWay Services, LLC. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement ABA therapy programs and behavior management techniques as directed in the client's treatment and behavior plan.
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy at homes, schools, and community settings.
- Complete data collection for each client as directed.
- Meet with supervisors and provide feedback about clients.
- Complete daily session notes and forms.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of clients with different needs and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of staff members, including ABA therapists, BCBA's, and administrative staff.
- Work collaboratively with each client's team.
- Maintain strict parent/child confidentiality policies and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain professional relationships with client's parents/caregivers.
- Ability to work in an active job that may require periodic lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Attend company training's to expand your ABA knowledge and skills.
- Ensure a positive, safe learning environment for each client.
- Experience: 1 year working with children with disabilities/ASD either in a school or home setting.
- Education: High school diploma (required) or G.E.D.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- RBT preferred (but not required).
- Medicaid provider number (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changes.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle/public transportation.
- Great writing and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to have a background check (required) and potential drug testing.
- Flexible schedule.
