Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Local Waste Disposal Driver to join our team in Canton, OH. As a driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty waste disposal vehicles and collecting waste and recyclable materials. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, documenting any mechanical or safety issues.
  • Notify supervisors of accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Maintain and update route sheets and driver logs.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors, such as assisting with other routes to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid CDL B license (or A).
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Hiring radius: drivers must live within 50 miles of Canton, OH or be willing to relocate for this position.
