Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist Nights to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. As a CT Technologist Nights, you will be responsible for operating Cat-Scan equipment, positioning patients for diagnostic radiographs, and performing related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality radiographs and scans of designated body parts.
  • Adjust equipment and patient positioning for optimal diagnostic results.
  • Perform reconstruction and special processing of CT data, including CT Angio.
  • Closely monitor patients, provide first aid as needed, and confer with physicians when requested exams appear inconsistent with patient condition.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of exam data, make edits as required, and verify exams for radiologist review.
  • Properly document medications used in the EMAR system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards for contamination control.
  • Review patient charts to obtain relevant clinical history, test results, and laboratory data, and document this information for radiologists.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement and safety programs.
  • Accurately record hours worked, adhering to hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of CT invasive procedures, including biopsy and drainages.
  • Basic knowledge of supplies used, such as catheters and biopsy needles.
