Job Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the clinical practice and patient care delivery in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Northside Hospital. This role requires 24-hour accountability, authority, and responsibility for the operations of assigned units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of human, fiscal, and material resources
  • Implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
  • Leadership and oversight of invasive cardiac services, including cardiac cath, EP, and Admission/Recovery
  • Providing care to an adult and geriatric patient population
  • Participation in STEMI call with the call team on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Valid Georgia Nursing License
  • Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab
  • Previous management/leadership experience in Nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Prior experience with general vascular, coronary angiography, and electrophysiology
  • Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation
  • Ability to take emergent coronary interventional call (PCI & STEMI) with a 30-minute arrival time
