Role Overview
The Resident Parent plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure and welcoming home atmosphere for up to 8 students. This position involves guiding the personal growth and development of students by assisting them in managing their duties, relationships, and spiritual journeys. The Resident Parent will cultivate a Christian atmosphere through prayer, open dialogue, and family-oriented activities.
Our students hail from diverse backgrounds, including international origins. As a Resident Parent, you will impart essential life skills such as respectful communication, effective time management, and conflict resolution, alongside vital character qualities like integrity, compassion, patience, acceptance, and self-discipline. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about youth, family, and mission work.
We are currently looking for Married Couples to fill these positions. Couples will collaborate closely with one another and other residential staff to provide comprehensive care for the students. Regular communication with supervisors is essential to ensure that the students receive appropriate support and that all policies are adhered to. Each Resident Parent will have access to a private apartment adjacent to the student residence.
Benefits
- Rotating work schedule of 4 days on, followed by 2 days off.
