Job Summary

Providence is seeking a skilled Nurse Navigator RN to join our team in the Infusion department. As a clinical expert, you will coordinate and administer patient care treatment regimens, research components, and program outreach for patients diagnosed with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients and their families in managing through the vast array of services and programs offered by the hospital and the community to meet their health and wellness needs.
  • Coordinate and administer patient care treatment regimens, research components, and program outreach for patients diagnosed with cancer.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), or NCBC – Breast Patient Navigator Certification (or successful completion of one of these certifications within 1 year of hire).
  • Current ONS chemotherapy administration card upon hire.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in oncology nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
