Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage Patient Flow: Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in peer review to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, ONS Chemo/Biotherapy provider card required. OCN Certification preferred.
- Licensure: N.Y.S. Nursing License, Current N.Y.S. Registration.
