Role Focus: This role will emphasize grasping the client sales and ordering workflow to facilitate the delivery of superior service levels across mechanical and IT services for all exhibitions, while also taking the lead on Electrical services as necessary.
Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced setting, you will demonstrate exceptional Health and Safety awareness and exhibit strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients, all while upholding a professional demeanor.
Collaboration: You will closely collaborate with the CBRE Supervisor, who holds overall accountability for all services provided by CBRE.
Team Dynamics: You may be called upon to cover for the Supervisor and will work in tandem with the Technical Events Team Contract Manager and the Client.
Preparation: Within this team, you will also gain familiarity with other sectors of the Technical Events Team in readiness for Events and Exhibitions.
Flexibility: This role necessitates a flexible mindset and a positive attitude, including adaptable shift patterns under an 'Annualised Hours' Contract.
Key Responsibilities- Reliability: Exhibit excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
- Pressure Management: Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Service Installation: Timely installation of Electrical services aligned with event requirements and to a high professional standard.
- Asset Reporting: Document and report on asset conditions, including recommendations for upgrades and repairs.
- Resource Management: Diligently oversee the use of consumable store items to minimize waste.
- Documentation: Ensure all tasks are recorded in accordance with CBRE Managed Services procedures and policies, utilizing both paper forms and electronic software.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer use is essential, as you will be trained to input records into site-specific programs.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with CBRE Managed Services policies and procedures.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are followed for all tasks undertaken, promoting safe working practices.
- Work Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, complying with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies and arrangements.
- Professional Image: Maintain a professional representation of CBRE Managed Services to clients and visitors, ensuring excellence in customer service is consistently delivered and promoted.
- Continuous Development: Commit to personal development and lifelong learning to maintain professional and technical skills.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Plumbing discipline.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibitions.
- Exceptional communication skills across all levels.
- Organized and disciplined work approach with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Accountable to the CBRE Technical Events Team Supervisor and the Technical Events Team Contract Manager.
