Position Overview

  • Full-time role with rotating weekend shifts
  • Available shifts include 1st and 2nd, with potential shift differentials
  • Starting salary of $42,000, with opportunities for advancement based on experience

Role Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients worldwide who face medical challenges while traveling. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying appropriate medical professionals or facilities for treatment
  • Assisting clients with prescription replacements
  • Coordinating complex medical evacuations, ensuring specialized care and travel arrangements are in place for those who become ill or injured during their travels

You will collaborate closely with our international team of medical experts to guarantee that all medical interventions are suitable for travel conditions and the return journey home. Our services are available in real-time, 24/7.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service (1+ years preferred)
  • Experience in a telephone-based role
  • Strong problem-solving abilities within established protocols
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Effective task management and prioritization skills
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with high-end clientele
  • International travel experience and a general understanding of geography are advantageous
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial
  • Proficiency in foreign languages is highly regarded
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
