Key Responsibilities
  • Substation Design: Develop detailed designs for high-voltage substation projects up to 500kV, including one-line diagrams, physical arrangements, grounding, schematics, and wiring.
  • Protection System Design: Design and integrate protection and control systems to interface with the physical layout and design of substations.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines while ensuring quality and budget compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CAD operators, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Certification/Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in substation design and protection system design.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation; experience developing relay settings is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, and retirement plans.
