Job Summary

The Pile Driver position at Manson Construction Co. is a skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation of various types of piles in marine construction projects. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in working with heavy equipment and machinery in a marine environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand plans and blueprints to execute pile installation tasks
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment and machinery, including cranes and marine operations
  • Assist in developing work element plans and implementing project safety and quality standards
  • Participate in site safety meetings and near miss reporting
  • Use standard tools and equipment, such as skill saws, chain saws, and sledge hammers, to perform tasks
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of quality control and concrete placement in marine construction projects
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and on marine vessels. The employee must be able to safely execute duties in and around heavy equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position, including working in all weather conditions and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
