Responsibilities
Suzanne Calvert and Associates is expanding its in-house legal team. We are seeking Insurance Defense attorneys with trial experience to enhance our service capabilities, capitalizing on our leadership in the insurance and financial services industry.
About Our Office:
Our office is situated in a vibrant area, and our employees enjoy a hybrid work model, balancing time between the office and remote work.
Your onboarding will equip you to manage a caseload independently, effectively guiding cases from inception to resolution in an insurance defense context. Candidates should exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to handle the entire lifecycle of a case, from initial response to trial, while delivering exceptional customer service. Successful attorneys in this role will possess outstanding communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency with technology.
Qualifications
- Experience in Insurance Defense is preferred, ideally with 1st or 2nd chair trial experience.
- An active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the bar is required.
- A law degree from an ABA-accredited institution and strong academic credentials are necessary.
- Proficiency in automation and technology for managing lawsuits and courtroom presentations is essential.
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
