As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, promote patient independence, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to position specialty
  • Promote patient independence by establishing care goals
  • Resolve patient's problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
  • Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public, according to position setting
  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent LPN experience
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Current LPN license in Florida or compact (multi-state) license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
