Job Summary

MCA is seeking an experienced Master Security Technician to support our fast-growing Security division in the Tifton, GA area. As a trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, you will be responsible for installing and servicing physical security systems and platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and other low-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installing and servicing physical security systems and platforms
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues
  • Leading on-site installations and serving as foreman of an installation team
  • Training and mentoring others within the team
  • Serving as the main customer interface
  • Managing trades and subcontractors assigned to projects
  • Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential applications
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience with the installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems and platforms
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installation, troubleshooting, and testing of systems
  • Advanced knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control, CCTV, and other security systems
  • Ability to oversee full installation of multiple systems across multiple platforms
  • Ability to obtain appropriate licensure
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Work Environment

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in various conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear, utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift from the floor, bend, frequently utilize near vision for reading and computer use, and be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions.

Travel Requirements

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
