Maintenance Technician Job Description

Meliá Orlando Celebration Hotel is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs to guest rooms, including carpentry, painting, and minor decoration
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to management
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
