Job Summary

The General Utility is a vital role within our organization, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. As a General Utility, you will be the backbone of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment using proper procedures.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, serving, and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management.
Requirements
  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
