Your role will support the overarching vision and mission of the organization, while also respecting the diverse age and cultural backgrounds of patients.

Quality Assurance:
Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care quality through performance improvement strategies that yield positive patient care results.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage for documentation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand English at a level necessary for following instructions and safety protocols.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Current RN License to practice in Texas.
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
  • NRP and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC certification within 1 year of hire.

Educational Background:

  • A degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
  • Must meet unit-specific educational requirements.

Qualifications:
Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to foster positive interpersonal relationships. Proficiency in computer documentation is essential, along with bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish being advantageous.
