Auburn Youth Programs is an extension of University Outreach that sponsors and executes over 50 summer programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular endeavors. As a Student Marketing Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to further your education and skills while making new friends and experiencing life at Auburn University.
The ideal candidate will be an Auburn student studying marketing, public relations, communications or another related field. You should be a driven, ambitious individual who wants to make a difference by producing high-quality marketing content and pictures that campers and families can enjoy for years to come.
In this role, you will work closely with the AYP team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our summer programs. You will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, creating engaging content, and analyzing campaign results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) including feed posts, stories, captions, graphics, photo editing, and responding to messages and comments.
• Creating, drafting, proofreading, and scheduling posts for all of our social media channels.
• Maintaining ongoing management of branding on all social media profiles.
• Strategizing and developing content calendars for social media, emails, paid ads, and other digital marketing.
• Assisting with marketing plans and strategy to meet long-term goals.
• Reviewing and reporting analytics.
What We Offer
Auburn University offers a competitive pay rate of $10.00-$11.00/hour and up to 20 hours of work per week during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer semester, you can work up to 25-35 hours per week. Additionally, you will receive one meal/day provided while working when summer camps are in session.
