Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems
  • Participate in a teamwork environment, assisting colleagues as needed
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated care
  • Participate in on-call rotation, with a 30-minute callback time
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 1 year of experience as a Perioperative RN or completion of a Perioperative Nurse course
  • Scrubbing or surgical assistant experience preferred
  • Licensed or license eligible, as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
