Job Summary

This position provides comprehensive nutrition services to dialysis patients and caregivers in a clinical setting, focusing on maximizing nutritional well-being and supporting patients with end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and caregivers
  • Monitor nutritional status, laboratory values, and dialysis adequacy to determine appropriate nutrition interventions
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • State licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located
  • Minimum of two years' professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian
  • Preferred experience working in a dialysis setting
