Pediatrician Job Description

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team at a medical center in Fort Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries in pediatric patients.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to pediatric patients.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention to promote healthy habits and outcomes.
  • Conduct research and remain up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
  • Must have Pediatrics Residency.
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
  • Must have BLS / Pediatrics ACLS certification.
  • Must have at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months.
