About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Mechanicsville, VA. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our dermatologists and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompanying dermatologists during patient visits and promoting a friendly and efficient environment.
  • Providing post-op wound care and drawing blood as needed.

  • Scheduling patient appointments and managing administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum post-high school education in a medical support field, such as Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
