CDL Class A Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks, including inspections of the tractor, trailer, and cargo.
- Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas.
- Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
- Collect payments and handle customer returns as needed.
- 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- Valid CDL A license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Valid current DOT Health Card.
