Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing personalized care plans. Your expertise in respiratory care modalities and ability to work independently will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
  • Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide information about community support groups and other available programs
  • Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in RT, including critical care
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Respiratory Therapist program
  • Active unencumbered Respiratory Therapist Pennsylvania state license
  • One year of Epic experience
