Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic IV to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing parts of hospital equipment and building systems, requiring semi-skilled work in various trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with building maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hospital equipment systems.
  • Assist with snow removal and other duties as required.
  • Effectively carry out repairs to plumbing, communications, HVAC, and electrical systems throughout the hospital.
  • Accurately troubleshoot and repair various hospital equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of the hospital's energy management system.
  • Keep accurate records and logs as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry out routine functions in the power plant, such as blow downs, water analysis, and minor troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Respond to all emergency and STAT calls.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Commercial trades experience, such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
