Key Responsibilities:- Assist licensed physical therapists in planning, organizing, and implementing physical therapy services.
- Prepare residents for treatment, administer physical therapy, and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Participate in discharge planning, resident assessments, and development of care plans.
- Conduct therapy screens to determine resident needs and ensure timely intervention.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; on-the-job training provided by a physical therapist.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, speak and write English clearly, and cope with mental, emotional, and physical stress.
- Must be able to relate to and work with residents, families, and healthcare staff in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Work in office, resident rooms, and therapy areas, with frequent interruptions and interactions with residents, families, and staff.
- May be required to work beyond regular hours, including weekends and holidays, and participate in continuing education programs.
