Residential Counselor

Elk Hill Farm, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our youth to thrive.

The Residential Counselor will work closely with our treatment team to provide individualized support and guidance to our youth. This includes developing and implementing treatment plans, providing behavioral interventions, and facilitating group activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with youth, families, and colleagues.

• Provide individualized support and guidance to youth, including developing and implementing treatment plans
• Facilitate group activities and behavioral interventions to promote positive behavior and social skills
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our youth
• Document progress and provide regular updates to the treatment team and families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience working with youth in a residential or group home setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with youth, families, and colleagues
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
