Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently load materials and components into CNC machinery while executing programmed operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance through regular checks and cleaning.
- Perform in-process inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
- Implement minor adjustments to programs, focusing primarily on tool offsets.
- Replace worn or damaged tooling, including inserts, boring bars, end mills, and drills.
- Complete necessary documentation accompanying manufactured parts.
- Ensure proper handling and identification of components to maintain traceability.
Qualifications:
- Experience in machine operation, with familiarity in Mazak systems being advantageous.
- Knowledge of part holding techniques and machine maintenance protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning.
- Proficient in using basic inspection tools to verify product specifications.
- Fundamental understanding of CNC programming.
- Capable of installing and removing perishable tooling as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent technical training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
Materials Processed: 304L, Nitronic 60, Inconel 718, 6061, 7075, aermet 100, D2
Tolerances: +/- .0003
CNC Equipment Utilized: Mazak mills/lathes (3X/4X axis), Brother/Methods (3X/4X axis), Yasda mill turns (5X), Integrex mill turns (5X)
Control Systems: Fanuc, Fadal, Haas
