Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Marshall Medical Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to patients, adhering to dietary restrictions and modified textures.
  • Participate in kitchen clean-up and dishwashing responsibilities.
  • Assist with hospital cafeteria operations, including food preparation, serving, and cashiering duties.
  • Support Gift Shop operations and sales.

Requirements:

  • California Food Handlers card or ServSafe certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to read and write in the English language.
  • Previous food service and cashier experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of special diets preferred.

Working Conditions: This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, and stretch routinely without limitations. Physical stamina for constant walking and standing.
