Breast Surgeon Position at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Akron General, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified board-certified/board-eligible Breast Surgeon to join their team in Canton, OH.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in all aspects of Breast Surgery and formal fellowship training in Breast Surgery. They will be expected to continue developing and growing an established breast surgery practice, working alongside an existing surgeon at Mercy and the breast surgery department at Akron General, a reconstructive surgeon, and advanced practice providers.
The successful candidate will be committed to advancing the institution's oncology programs in a community setting, making a meaningful impact on patient care and becoming a valued member of the Cleveland Clinic Mercy family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of Breast Surgery
- Participate in multidisciplinary Breast Tumor Board meetings
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including radiologists, medical oncologists, on-site pathologists, radiation oncologists, reconstructive plastic surgeons, and advanced practice providers
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with breast cancer
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Breast Surgery
- Formal fellowship training in Breast Surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
