Position Overview:

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking skilled Imagery Analysts who excel in developing tasking strategies and interpreting imagery to support military and policy objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

Imagery Analysts are tasked with:

  • Analyzing activities and interests of various nations and non-state actors.
  • Assessing the consequences of both natural and man-made disasters.
  • Conducting multi-intelligence research and managing intelligence databases.
  • Producing and distributing intelligence reports.
Promotion Potential:

Our agency values quality experience over time-in-band, allowing for promotion opportunities across all levels.

Additional Information:

This role involves working with full motion video (FMV) data, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Analysts will be engaged in a rotational shift schedule to meet mission demands.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Criteria:

  • Experience in FMV imagery analysis, particularly within military contexts.
  • Background in research and imagery analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative settings.

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Geography, or International Affairs is required, or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Applicants must possess the ability to distinguish colors and have near visual acuity. Prolonged exposure to video display units is expected.

Security Clearance:

U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance and pass a polygraph test.

Evaluation Process:

Applicants will undergo a multi-stage evaluation process, focusing on mandatory qualifications and overall suitability for the role.
