Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach courses in business at Truckee Meadows Community College. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business or a closely related field and a passion for teaching and learning. As a Part-Time Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses, including Introduction to Business, Business English, and Workplace Communications. You will also have the chance to work with students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to the college's mission of providing high-quality education to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in business, including Introduction to Business, Business English, and Workplace Communications
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current in your teaching field and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Use current technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Maintain appropriate standards of ethics and professional conduct
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business or a closely related field from an accredited institution
  • Desire to work in a diverse academic environment with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds
Benefits
  • Competitive pay rate of $1,010 per credit to teach 100- and 200-level courses, and $1,100 per credit to teach 300- and 400-level courses
