Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse or LPN

Bensalem Township School District is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse or LPN to fill a nursing position within our school health offices.

The selected individual will be responsible for providing information and services in school health-related areas, documenting and managing the health needs of children in grades K-12, including those with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recognize symptoms and consequences of safety and environmental factors
  • Adhere to and follow district policies, guidelines, and directives consistent with the mandates of the PA Department of Education and other regulatory agencies
  • Provide information and services in school health-related areas
  • Document and manage the health needs of children in grades K-12

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license and CPR certification
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred but not required

Benefits:

  • Individual medical and Rx benefits offered
  • Other benefits outlined by the collective bargaining agreement

This is a 10-month position starting at $33.16/hr for RNs or $27.24/hr. The selected individual will be responsible for adhering to and following district policies, guidelines, and directives consistent with the mandates of the PA Department of Education and other regulatory agencies.
